Engage the heart,
Fuel the passion,
Transforming students into compassionate, skilled therapists.
Our massage therapy training facility is a Private Vocational School licensed under the Private Vocational Training Act. We are pleased to offer flexibility in study by offering full time training and part time distance training. Continuing education classes as well as personal interest classes are scheduled throughout the year.
Our classrooms are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. The school is located in the city of Red Deer, a thriving and prosperous community, centrally positioned between Alberta's largest cities, Calgary and Edmonton. The school was established in 1990 and in monitoring the pulse of the profession, has stayed current with this changing vocational field and has consistently met the demands for a higher standard of education.
In a pleasant "small school" environment, our supportive staff and faculty nurture our students and encourage their sincere desires to gain knowledge and achieve their goals for the course.
We are dedicated to graduating massage therapists who are exceptionally trained, skilled, successful and personally fulfilled. We are proud of our graduates and celebrate their achievements in personal growth and diverse career development.
The Alberta Institute of Massage, commonly known as A.I.M. is one of the most recognized and respected schools in the country. We are committed to providing the best professional training available for those beginning their education and those enhancing their careers.
Our prayer is that we, as well as each graduate, can make the world a healthier place in which to live.
We have memberships in the Canadian Council of Massage Therapy Schools, the Alberta Association of Career Colleges and the National Association of Career Colleges.

"I had taken relaxation massage before deciding that my passion was to become a Massage Therapist. I researched several different schools and AIM was the one most personable. During my time at AIM, I suffered a loss and went through a difficult time. The directors and instructors were extremely understanding and caring. I was a person to them and not just a student. I appreciate how well they treated me and also the knowledge I gained from the wonderful instructors. They gave me strength to finish the program and to pursue my passion. I am now a Registered Massage Therapist at a clinic and I am finally helping people the way I was meant to."
Koreena Lindstrom, RMT
"I started my massage therapy training at the Alberta Institute of Massage (AIM) in January 2002 after realizing I wanted to enter into a holistic, healing and people based profession. At AIM, the people, training and environment are laid out to create one of the most challenging and exciting programs I have ever taken. I would recommend anyone, considering a career in massage therapy take a serious look at attending this top-notch school. I am a successful massage therapist."

"Going to school at AIM was not only a learning experience, it was a life change. The confidence and knowledge that I gained allowed me to use my skills in many different workplace settings and gave me the ability to help people feel their best. I recommend AIM to anyone who is interested in taking on a challenge that will benefit health, wellness and confidence in yourself and the people around you."
